Excuse the hyperbole but I had to get your attention. I do believe that it is the very best banana bread, but it also makes me cringe saying so. So please play along so I may convince you. I’ll ask you a few questions, keep up.
What’s the best banana bread you’ve ever had? Or rather, WHEN was the last BEST banana bread you’ve ever had? For us… Last week, when we remade this recipe for the 3rd time in May. It’s that good. Even an inflexible grumpy and spice-hating taste-tester dubbed this: excellent banana bread.
Another said it was more like spice cake than banana bread, but she’s part hater-gater anyway (joke Mom, love you). So, what will you say about what I’m calling my absolute favorite Banana Bread EVER? Will you call me out on it, or love me forever for providing you with your favorite go-to banana bread recipe? Sunny ways, sunny ways my friends. Harsh Canadian winter is leaving us, the days are growing longer and warmer. I don’t know about you, but I get an instant mood boost as soon as we hit the first week of March.

It’s March Magic.

Enough about the weather. Let’s talk chicken. As usual, with this recipe, we have tried to keep it simple, quick and hopefully all made in one skillet.

30 minutes (or less) + one skillet = happiness.

I’ve found that happiness negatively correlates with the amount of time you spend doing the dishes. And positively correlates with the words chicken and creamy. So there you go, that’s why Creamy Garlic Chicken.

How’s it going friends!

It is February 2020 in Montreal. We had the biggest snowstorm of the year yesterday and the streets are covered in snow. As I am writing this blog post, Tis’ -15 Celsius (5 F), -26 (-15 F) if wind factored in. It’s cold, is my point.

That is why soup. But not just any soup. This is a Vegan Creamy Red Lentil Soup, garnished with homemade pumpernickel croutons, freshly ground black peppers and a drizzle of coconut cream.
