Oven baked Crispy Yuca Fries

  • 1 Yuca root.
  • 2 Tbsp of grapeseed oil
  • 1 pinch of Cayenne
  • 1 pinch of Smoked paprika Paprika
  • Salt to taste.
  1. Preheat your oven to 375.
  2. Peel your yuca using a speed peeler.
  3. Cut your yuca into sticks. This can be tricky, so be careful.
  4. Boil your yuca in water for 10 mins. Then drain it and let it sit until it gets cool enough to handle.
  5. Line your fries in a baking sheet.
  6. Bake 30 to 40 minutes and don't forget to flip your fries half way through to make sure they brown evenly.
  7. Take it out and add up your spices and salt.
  8. Serve with your favorite dip and enjoy !
